Application Fields

Chemical Raw Materials: It is an important raw material for the production of vinyl chloride, and globally over 95% of ethylene dichloride is used to produce vinyl chloride. It can also be used to produce ethylene amines, vinylidene chloride, and chlorinated solvents. It is also a raw material for the production of ethylene glycol, oxalic acid, ethylenediamine, tetraethyl lead, polyethylene polyamine, and benzil.

Solvent: It can be used as a solvent for oils, resins, and rubber, as a dry cleaning agent, and as an extraction agent for pesticides such as pyrethrin, caffeine, vitamins, and hormones. It can also be used for petroleum dewaxing, as an anti-knock agent, etc.

Analytical Reagent: Used as an analytical reagent, such as a solvent and a standard substance for chromatographic analysis.

Agricultural Field: In agriculture, it can be used as a fumigant for grains and cereals, a soil disinfectant, etc.
